Right in front of the hotel is a beach setting just made for dream weddings. All the ingredients are here, white sand, gently lapping sea and sunshine.

Take a basic package and add whatever you want (or nothing) to it. As simple or elaborate as you want it to be. Extras are detailed on the bottom of the page. If there's something you would like that's not there just ask. We can provide whatever you want to make your day perfect.

Begin with a palm frond bower intertwined with flowers and start planning your day.

The cost of the package includes the services of the wedding planner to help you organise your day.

Non Religious Ceremony

Price from 12,000 Baht

A ceremony for couples who want to create their own beach wedding experience.

With an English speaking licensed wedding celebrant to guide you, exchange your own personal vows. Have a verse or poem read by a friend. On the beach with the sand and sea, in the garden, in bright sunshine or at sunset. In the presence of your wedding party, or a few witnesses chosen by you, or just the two of you.

This package includes the beach bower, bridal bouquet, grooms' buttonhole and the services of the Master of Ceremonies.

Catholic Ceremony

Price: 16,500 Baht

There are two Catholic churches on Koh Samui. The Catholic wedding is performed at the altar by an ordained priest. If you wish, you can return to the hotel for wedding pictures on the beach.

You should allow 3 weeks for the priest to check with your local church that you are both free to marry.

This package includes the ceremony, priest, flowers in the church, buttonhole for the groom and bouquet for the bride.

Protestant Ceremony

Price: 16,500 Baht

The Protestant wedding is a religious wedding led by the Protestant pastor. It is a simple ceremony on the beach and does not require any paperwork. The couple will also receive the certificate of marriage from the Protestant church in Koh Samui.

This package includes the pastor, beach bower, buttonhole for the groom and bouquet for the bride.

Wedding Vow Renewal

Price from 12,000 Baht

A ceremony for the renewal of vows to reaffirm your marriage.
The simple ceremony is very similar to the non religious ceremony. In the presence of children, family and friends, it will show their contribution and importance to your lives as a couple. You can choose your own words, vows, or readings to make this a very personal celebration of your life together.

This package includes the master of ceremony, beach bower, buttonhole for the husband and bouquet for the wife.

Traditional Thai Wedding

Price from 16,500 Baht

This is a lovely ceremony which takes about an hour. The ceremony is traditionally held in the morning at 10 a.m. as monks are not allowed to have food after 12.00 noon.

There are many ways the ceremony can be conducted. We conduct our ceremony at the Hin Lad Monastery, a short drive from the resort.

9 monks are invited for the ceremony in the Monastery’s chapel. The bride and groom light the candles and joss sticks then sit close to each other facing the nine monks. Circled holy strings are draped on the bride and groom’s heads which are connected to the holy string in the monks’ hands. This symbolizes the spiritual union of the bride and groom. The monks chant prayers for health, happiness and prosperity in the ancient language. Then the Head Monk blesses the bride and groom with the holy water. The ceremony ends with the bride and groom offering alms and flowers and then going to the meal hall to offer food to all monks.

We provide transport, flower garlands, alms and offerings together with the ceremony in this package.

Please note that the hotel prefers time to discuss and prepare the final details to make your special day as perfect as possible. For this we like you to stay at Lipa Lovely Resort for at least 2 full days before the actual wedding. But if you are already staying near by you can come to discuss the plans with the wedding planner instead.
